STC-KNRM is an Offshore Training center situated on a unique spot in the Port of Rotterdam. As an Offshore Training center it passionately ensures that all working at sea can safely return to their homes. It trains for the Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind and Marine sectors. It also provides various courses for the industrial sector.
STC-KNRM is an associate company with two equal shareholders: STC Group is leading (globally) in the field of maritime education and related knowledge for all the work and activities in the port- and logistics sector. KNRM (Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Institution) is a foundation that saves lives at sea in (Dutch) waters and was established in 1824 to offer help and support to seamen in distress. KNRM employs professionally trained volunteers and uses modern lifeboats for this purpose. Its products, knowledge, and services have been developed over many years in co-operation with world-renowned Dutch technical institutions. In STC-KNRM the above knowledge and experience are combined, allowing it to provide high-quality emergency response training for the marine, offshore and offshore wind sector. While demanding the highest quality from the company, at STC-KNRM, customer focus and flexibility come first.
STC_KNRM and White Coral Offshore (WCO) signed on 21st December 2018 a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a long-standing co-operation to enable WCO to represent STC_KNRM in the Middle East and Central Asia. The countries covered by this MOU are the following:
